PCB Promotes Cancer Awareness during HBL Pakistan Super League 9

A Gold Ribbon Day on March 12 during the Quetta Gladiators vs. Multan Sultans match at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi, is also scheduled to focus on childhood cancer awareness.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) actively participated in corporate social responsibility leveraging the HBL Pakistan Super League platform to shed light on breast cancer and childhood cancer awareness.

A Pink Ribbon Day was scheduled for the Peshawar Zalmi vs. Multan Sultans match yesterday at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi. Both teams will don pink ribbons and caps, with commentators joining the initiative. Messages promoting breast cancer awareness were displayed on the big screen and announced during the commentary for the Television audience.

Following this, a Gold Ribbon Day on March 12 during the Quetta Gladiators vs. Multan Sultans match at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi, will focus on childhood cancer awareness. The venue will be adorned in gold ribbons and caps, with players and commentators participating. Notably, four cancer patients have been invited to attend the Gold Ribbon Day in Karachi, where they will receive signed shirts from both participating teams.

Such initiative highlights PCB's commitment to using the power of cricket to raise awareness about critical health issues, emphasizing the broader role sports can play in promoting social causes.
