New National Record in 10m Air Pistol Event

Navy’s Rabia Kabir created a new national record on the first day of the 31st National Shooting Championship at PN shooting ranges

Rabia Kabir of the Navy achieved a remarkable feat on the opening day of the 31st National Shooting Championship at PN shooting ranges, securing a new national record in the 10m Air Pistol event for women. Rabia clinched the gold medal with an impressive score of 243.6. In the same event, Army's Kishmala Talat secured the silver medal with a score of 238.1, while Navy's Rasam Gul earned the bronze medal with a score of 212.0.

In the 50m Prone Rifle event for the women's category, Navy's Ayesha Javed claimed the gold medal with a score of 611.4 points. Sara Saleem of Navy secured the silver medal with 610 points, and Army's Bushra won the bronze medal with a score of 603.9 points.

In the team category of the 50m Prone Rifle event, the Navy excelled, securing the gold with a total score of 1821.7 points. Wapda earned the silver medal with a score of 1748.9 points, while Sindh secured the bronze with a score of 1643.9 points.

After day one, the Navy leads the medal table with three gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. The Army follows with one silver and one bronze, holding the second position. Wapda, with one silver, and Sindh, with one bronze, are positioned third and fourth, respectively. PAF, Punjab, and Pakistan Police have yet to secure any medals.
