4 Shooters depart to Croatia for ISSF World Cup 2021

Four Pakistani shooters left for Croatia to feature in the ISSF World Cup 2021 Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun which is slated to be held from 22nd June in Osijek, Croatia.

Four Pakistani shooters left for Croatia to feature in the ISSF World Cup 2021 Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun which is slated to be held from 22nd June in Osijek, Croatia.

Pakistan is fielding a strong four member squad, including the 3 quota holders for the Tokyo Olympics. The shooters are Farrukh Nadeem, Gulfam Joseph, Khalil Akhtar, and Ghulam Mustafa Bashir accompanied by a coach, Razi Ahmed.

Bashir and Khalil will compete in the 25m rapid fire pistol event and Gulfam 10m air pistol. Farrukh is to compete in the trap event.

A total of 294 athletes will be seen in action in the tournament with as many as 53 countries confirming their entries, including Korea, Singapore, USA, United Kingdom, Iran, Ukraine, France, Hungary, Italy, Thailand and Turkey.

The event will conclude on July 3rd.
