Javed Afridi wants a series between PSL and IPL Teams

The owner of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, that he hopes to see matches between PSL franchises and Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises in the near future.

Chief Executive of Haier Pakistan, and owner of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, has been issued an honorary golden visa by the government of the United Arab Emirates, becoming the first Pakistani to receive the honor.

Afridi also talked about the relationship between Pakistan and India. He believes that sports, especially cricket, have a major part to play to ease the tensions between the two countries.

Afridi said that he hopes to see matches between PSL franchises and Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises in the near future.

The strongest teams of PSL, Peshawar Zalmi, who had won the tournament once and ended runner-up twice, is excited about the match.

Javed Afridi’s successful franchise is represented by cricketing legends like former West Indian skipper Daren Sammy, South African star batsman Hashim Amla, and Pakistan all rounders Wahab Riaz and Shoaib Malik, and others from the world’s biggest test playing teams.
