Lahore Race Club to hold Eid Cup 2021 from 16th May

The Lahore Race Club (LRC) has announced to resume the horseracing with Eid Cup, which is slated to be held from May 16 at the Racecourse, Lahore.

 This was decided in a meeting presided over by LRC chairman, Makhdum Syed Ahmad Mahmud, after consultation with all stakeholders.

Nobody without wearing protective face mask and gloves will be allowed.

Makhdum Syed Ahmad has slated that he was aware of the fact that the suspension of racing since the middle of March has hit hard all stakeholders in general and owners, trainers and riders in particular, who were relying on the sports as bread earning source and were already under economic crunch.
