PFB to open Baseball Academy in Bahawalpur

President of Pakistan Baseball Federation(PFB) Syed Fakhar Ali Shah has announced that a baseball academy named after Syed Khawar Shah will be activated in Bahawalpur.

The Pakistan Baseball Federation is working for the development of youth baseball in the country for the last ten years.

The Baseball Federation is setting up youth baseball academies in various cities to train young players under the supervision of qualified coaches so that players can be prepared for the future.

Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, President PFB has announced to start a baseball academy in Bahawalpur after the name of former PFB chief and the founding member Pakistan Federation Baseball in Pakistan Syed Khawar Ali Shah.

This was decided in general body meeting of Bahawalpur Divisional Baseball Association Bahawalpur (BDBA) which was held under the chairmanship of its president Muhammad Ameen Abbasi.

Those who attended the meeting comprised Prof Dr Aftab Hussain Gillani, Rubina Khan, Muhammad Iqbal, Syed Shahid Gillani, Muhammad Nouman, Sh Waqas Raheem, Muhammad Jamshed Khan Advocate, Shahid Rafique, Muhammad Shahzad Qamar, M. Sajjid and Fatima Khan.
