Lahore Race Club set to hold six races today

Lahore Race Club (LRC) is set to host six races this afternoon in the club premises.

The feature event, the Tuba Plate class VI Division III and IV combined handicap race, has a field of eight runners. Of them four fillies are equally on chance to make it a competitive contest — Fair Beauty, Sparking, Princess Anabia and Madhuri Dixit.

The timely fitness and rider’s skill will matter most if there is no rigging and the runners are allowed to run on merit. The first named filly has a slight edge over the others.

The other five races to have three or more runners.

Four races will be held over 900-metre distance while two will be contested over 1,000 metres with opening race starting at 3:00pm.
