Baseball squad to feature in U-18 Asian baseball event

The Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) has announced that Pakistan's baseball team will participate in the U-18 Asian Championship to be held in Taiwan from Sept 6 to 12.

PFB president Syed Fakhar Ali Shah said that a meeting with the coaching staff was held on Wednesday to finalise the SOPs for holding a training camp for the U-18 Asian event at a suitable time and place.

Fakhar added the meeting was attended by Pakistan’s pitching coach Tariq Nadeem, batting coach Amir Imdad, Pakistan U-18 team coach Umair Bhatti who is also the captain of Pakistan senior baseball team, and team trainer Mahmood Ahmed.

Fakhar directed the coaches to stay in touch with the players online to start the necessary training at home until the finalisation of the SOPs. He further said that the camp would be held in August.
