PAFIAN Girls Netball Cup 2020 begins

The PAFIAN Girls Netball Cup 2020, organised by the Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF), commenced at the City School PAF Chapter’s campus with competitions in under-15, under-17 and under-19 categories held during the opening day. 

President PNF Mudassar Razak Arain declared the championship open as the chief guest. PNF Secretary Syed Gohar Raza, Mohammad Riaz and Sindh Netball Association Secretary Ijaz-ul-Haque were also present on the occasion.

In the U-15 category, The City School PAF defeated Trinity Girls School by 12-1 goals while Habib Girls School defeated City School North Nazimabad by 7-1 goals in the second match.

In the third match of the day, City School Gulshan beat Mohammedi Girls School Malir 14-1 while Karachi Grammar School Saddar outplayed City School Durkhashan by 11-1 goals

In the under-17 category, Habib School hammered Trinity College 14-1 while in the second match, City School PAF beat Convent of Jesus & Mary (CJM) by 9-2 goals.

In the U-19 category, the Elite Netball Club won their match against Habib Inspiration Unit 7-5.

The quarter-final matches of different categories will be played today (Wednesday).
