Sharpshooter Gulfam Joseph wins Silver medal at 9th Amir’s Int’l Shooting Grand Prix
Gulfam Joseph has attained a silver medal for Pakistan in Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's 9th International Shooting Grand Prix at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex, Kuwait.
The Olympics bound marksman Gulfam Joseph has snatched another silver medal for Pakistan in Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's 9th International Shooting Grand Prix held at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex, Kuwait.
19-year-old Joseph performed marvelously in lights of the participation of world's champions and top athletes from Czech Republic, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Italy, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
Hailing from Lahore, Joseph was up to the challenge and won the 10m air pistol Silver medal by scoring 238.8 points narrowly missing out on the gold.
Meanwhile, UAE’s Ahmad Al-Amiri bagged gold with total score of 238.9 and the bronze went to Serbia’s Mikec Damir with 216.5 points.
It is worth mentioning that more than 400 shooters from 30 Arab and foreign countries were participated in His Highness the Amir 9th International Shooting Grand Prix.
