Khyber Pakhtunkhwa dominate the first day of U16 three day tournament's final

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa U16 dominated Northern U16 on the opening day of the PCB-Pepsi U16 three-day tournament final being played at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.

 
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohammad Irfan came good on the biggest stage of the competition by bagging five wickets for 32 runs against Northern U16 on the opening day of the PCB-Pepsi U16 three-day tournament final at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. 

The left-arm spinner took five wickets for 32 to dismiss Northern U16 for just 113 runs in 51.5 overs who had elected to bat after winning the toss.

Mohammad Arshad top-scored for Northern U16 with 37 off 59 balls courtesy of five fours.

In reply, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa U16 scored 191 for the loss of three wickets in 40 overs when the stumps were drawn.

Abbas Ali scored an unbeaten 77 off 99 balls while Haseeb Khan scored a half-century to give Khyber Pakhtunkhwa commanding lead after the first day.
