Pakistan thrashed Maldives quiet convincingly by the final score line of 3-0 in their opening match of Volleyball event at 13th South Asian Games which are being held in Kathmandu, Nepal.

But just when it seemed too easy for the green shirts, Maldives made a comeback putting up a strong fight but eventually losing it as well with a narrow margin 25-23.

Pakistan's coach made some quick adjustments as Pakistan sealed the win in the third set by playing like a unit winning it 25-15.
