Pakistan thrashed Maldives quiet convincingly by the final score line of 3-0 in their opening match of Volleyball event at 13th South Asian Games which are being held in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Pakistan Men's Volleyball squad went into the arena with determination to win their opening match where they were against Maldives in their group B game. The talented side of Pakistan dominated their opponents completely winning the match with the final score of 3-0.

But just when it seemed too easy for the green shirts, Maldives made a comeback putting up a strong fight but eventually losing it as well with a narrow margin 25-23.

Pakistan's coach made some quick adjustments as Pakistan sealed the win in the third set by playing like a unit winning it 25-15.
