Rashid Idrees finished at 15th spot in 14th Asian Shooting Championship

Pakistan’s Rashid Idrees finished at the 15th position in the 50m Pistol event at the 14th Asian Shooting Championship in Doha, Qatar.

In the qualification round, Rashid scored 544 points (91, 91, 88, 87, 91, 96) to finish at 15th spot among the 26 participants.

Earlier, Pakistan's Gulfam Joseph,  Ghulam Mustafa Bashir and Khalil Akhtar won the quota places for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics by competing at the 14th Asian Championship in Doha, Qatar.

Total 931 athletes from 34 nations featured in 14th Asian Championship in Doha. There were 38 Olympic quota places up for grabs in this event where 16 shooters from Pakistan participated in the championship.
