Pakistan wins Gold, Silver & Bronze in 1st Military Tent Pegging Tournament 2019 in Jordan

Pakistan military team won Gold and Bronze medals in Individual sword and Silver medal in team sword at participating in the first edition of the Military Tent Pegging Tournament in Jordan.  

On the second day of the singles competition Sajid Nawaz of Pakistan secured Gold medal while Nasir Al Siyabi sealed the silver medal for Oman and Sawar Manzar Abbas won bronze for Pakistan team.

In the team sword, Pakistan enthusiastic 4 member squad won Silver medal while Oman secure Gold and Egypt took bronze. After the completion of second day Pakistan secured the over all second position at the International event.

Pakistan 4 member tent peggers team comprises of Sub Inspector Amanat Ali - Pakistan Rangers Punjab, Dafadar Sajid Nawaz - Remount Depot Sargodha, Sepoy Waheed Akhtar - Pakistan Rangers Punjab, Sawar Manzar Abbas Remount Depot Monda and Coach Amer Munawar Siddiq.

The Pakistani team are taking part at the event besides Qatar, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Oman, United Kingdom and hosts Jordan. International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF) which is based in Muscat are organizing the first edition of the Military Tent Pegging tournament in Jordan during October 7 to 10.
