Netball umpiring course on Friday

A national netball umpiring and coaching course will be held at the PSB Coaching Centre on Friday in collaboration with the Pakistan Sports Board, Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) president Mudassar Arain announced on Monday.

The PNF has invited all of its affiliated units including Army, Navy, Air Force, Wapda, Railways, Police, Higher Education Comm­ission, Sindh, Punjab, KP, Baloc­­h­istan, Islamabad, Fata and Azad Jammu & Kashmir to participate in the course.

Besides, the PNF has also allocated ten seats for local participants on first come first served basis. The main aim is to introduce new rules (fast net) of netball sports and also groom new umpires and coaches from the grass-roots level.

The PNF is also likely to give chance to new umpires and coaches for the upcoming 15th National Netball Championship to be held in Islamabad from April 12-16.
