National Champion Mahoor Shahzad to compete in 2019 JE Wilson International Badminton Series

Talented Mahoor is drawn against world rank# 878 Jannifer Abitty of Ghana in the first round of 2019 JE Wilson International Badminton Series which is slated to e held in Accra, Ghana.

The JE Wilson Ghana International is the biggest tournament in Ghana, part of the BWF International Series, to be held from 18-24 July 2019 Accra, Ghana. 2019 remarks an accurate journey as the Global Tournament becomes an Olympic qualifier towards the Tokyo 2020. 

Pakistan badminton bigwig Mahoor Shahzad will represent country in the 2019 JE Wilson International Series women singles category. Talented Mahoor is drawn against world rank# 878 Jannifer Abitty of Ghana in the first round. Earlier, 17-years-old Jennifer Abitty played the round of 32 of the Women's Africa Championships Doubles 2019. 

After 22 wins in her vocation, the 22-year old Mahoor is currently ranked 173. Jubilant Mahoor of WAPDA is holding the Pakistan No. 1 ranking by winning the national title since 2016 of women singles.

Karachi-predicated Mahoor showed her excellency and proved herself to be an honour for the whole country as Mahoor is the only Pakistani player among the 20 players selected from Asia to be a part of the program that prepares potential players for the Olympics.

Mahoor Shahzad won the Annapurna Corporate Invitational International Badminton Tournament Championships 2018 in Nepal. She also won the 2017 Pakistan International Tournament of badminton and also took part in the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
