Dolphins CC claims 1st Karachi Defence Ramzan Cricket Tournament title

The Karachi Defence Cup Ramzan Night Cricket Tournament was organized by Pakistan School Sports Olympics (PSSO) and Sportics, for the first time ever. This tournament featured a total of ten teams whose players were seen in continuous efforts to pocket the attractive prize pursue of Rupees 135,000. 

Among the above mentioned total prize money, the winner team was awarded with 160,000 Rupees and the runner-up team bagged Rupees 40,000 worth of cash prizes. Besides, Best Bowler, Best Batsman and Best Player were also awarded.

The final encounter of this mega cricket event was a battle between Dolphins Cricket Club and Aimmz Trading team in which Dolphins Cricket Club defeated the strong side of Aimmz Trading team to claim the victory of the tournament. Aimmz Trading boys fell short by seven wickets even though they achieved the target score quite well.

Dolphins  Cricket Club led with a 168 runs target on 3 of the team players out while comparatively, Aimmz Trading had score 167 runs on nine of their players out, by the end of complete 20 overs. Ashar Qureshi from the winner team was the hero who earned his team the final win along with great team efforts and was adjudged, Man of the Match, at the end as well.
