Top players to feature in All-Pakistan Master’s Cup Table Tennis Tournament 2019

Top players of the country will assembles in the city to feature in the four-day all-Pakistan Master’s Cup table tennis tournament which gets into action at the Islamia Club, Karachi. 

Top 32 players will compete for the honours in the men’s singles while top 16 will battle it out for glory in the women’s singles.

Besides, top four men’s and as many women’s teams of the last Master’s Cup will participate in the team events. It may be recalled that the last Master’s Cup was held at Lahore in February.

The men’s quartet includes Army, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Wapda and Chromatex.

The top four women’s teams are Wapda, Army, Chromatex and Punjab.

According to draws, 32 men have been divided into eight groups. After the league stage, top players of each group will play for one to eight playoffs. Those who finish second in groups will vie for 9-16 playoffs while the third and fourth finishers will compete for 17 to 24 and 25 to 32 places respectively.

The women’s have been equally drawn into four groups. The group stage will be followed by playoffs.

The event is being held under the aegis of Sindh Table Tennis Association (STTA).
