6 member PAK Shooting squad to feature in 2019 ISSF World Cup in April

Pakistan’s six (6) shooters are all set to participate in the ISSF World Cup which is scheduled to be held from 5 to 16 April at Al-Ain in United Arab Emirates.

The 2019 ISSF World Cup is the annual edition of the ISSF World Cup in the Olympic shooting events, governed by the International Shooting Sport Federation. These World Cup series will also serve as the qualification tournaments for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Usman Chand belonging to Sialkot region, who also recently won gold medal in the National Clay Shooting Championship 2019 in Karachi, with his Initial Qualifying Score (IQS) of 122, will be taking part in the Skeet event at the upcoming World Cup 2019 in which about a total of 122 athletes from 50 countries are taking part so as to earn top spots in the championship. 

While Khurram Inam from Sindh, also called as the seasoned shooter, will also be participating in the Skeet event. He has represented Pakistan in Olympics thrice. Another one will be Ahmad Usman who will compete in the same event for Pakistan as well. 

Whereas the Trap event of the World Cup 2019 will see Pakistan's Aamer Iqbal (IQS 115), Farrukh Nadeem (IQS 117), and Zafar-ul-Haq among the 146 athletes from 59 countries who are to compete for top honors in the championship.
