Noor Zaman & Haris Qasim finishes fourth in British Junior Squash Open 2019

Pakistan’s Noor Zaman and Haris Qasim secured fourth positions in their respective age categories in British Junior Open in Birmingham.

 
750 of the finest juniors from around the world descended on Birmingham vying to crown the British Junior Open champion 2019 where Pakistan’s Noor Zaman and Haris Qasim secured fourth positions in their respective age categories in British Junior Open in Birmingham. 

Noor took the fourth position in the boy's under-15 category, as Ameeshenraj Chandaran of Malaysia overpowered Pakistan's hope Noor Zaman by  3-2 with the final score line of 7-11, 11-8, 11-7, 4-11, 11-6.

In the under-17 category, Haris took the fourth position as the top seed Yahia Elnawasany of Egypt beat by 3-0 Haris Qasim (Pak) 11-4, 11-2, 11-5.

Hamza Khan secured the ninth place while Farhan Hashmi grabbed the 17th place, Hassan Raza achieved the 26th position, and Syed Hasnain got the 63rd position.

In the boy's under-19 category, Abbas Zeb took the ninth place. In boy's under-13 category, Anas Ali Syed finished fifth and Humam Ahmed grabbed the 17th position.

In girl's under-17 category, Amna Fayaz secured the 28th position.

10-member Pakistani junior promising squash players participated in British Junior Squash 2019 held from 2nd – 6th January 2019 at Birmingham UK.
