15-member National U-16 Cricket squad named for One-day and T20 series

A 15-member National U-16 Cricket squad has been named for One-day and T20 series which are all set to be staged from 6 to 20 January at two different venues in Dubai.

The Basit Ali-led junior selection committee has named a 15-member National Under-16 squad for the one-day and T20 series against Australia which will be led by Umer Eman in both the series. 

As informed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pakistan’s Under-16 team will feature in a five-match one-day series and one-off T20 against their Australia counterparts from January 9th and all the six matches of the series will be played at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai where both teams will reach on January 6th.

While the five one-day games will be staged from 9th January onwards till the 18th followed by the one-off T20 on 20th.

The 15-member National U-16 Squad comprises of: Umer Eman (Captain), Kashif Ali (Vice-Captain), Ali Hassan, Sameer Saqib, Mohammad Shehzad, Haseebullah Khan, Rizwan Mehmood, Aseer Mughal, Zubair Shinwari (Wicket-Keeper), Ali Asfan, Faisal Akram, Aliyan Mehmood, Ayaz Shah, Farhad Khan and Ahmed Khan.

Whereas the Officials include: Mohammad Ashraf (Coach), Hussain Khosa (Assistant Coach), Taimoor Azam Khan (Manager), Rehan Khalid (Physiotherapist), Imranullah (Trainer), Usman Hashmi (Analyst).
