PAK Army lifts 38th PARA National Shooting Competition trophy

As many as 28 teams from three services participated in the 38th Pakistan Military Rifle Affiliation (PARA) National Shooting Competition which concluded successfully at Military Firing Ranges, Jhelum.

As many as 28 groups of three different services took part in this national level shooting competition which was named as ‘38th Pakistan Military Rifle Affiliation (PARA) Central Meet National Shooting Competition’. The three services included: Civil Armed Forces, Police and Civilians among which all the shooters were seen competing with their best shots so as to earn the trophy of the competition.

The Pakistan Military crew turned out to be the champion of this nationwide competition as they scored the most points and etched their name on the trophy of this competition.

A particular function of the meet was the participation of struggled, war-wounded officers and troopers who had overcome varied ranges of fight disabilities.

The Grasp at Arms Trophy was awarded to Sepoy Muhammad Jahanzeb of Multan Corps while Lieutenant Colonel (R) Idrees Rasheed managed to win The President’s Cup Nationwide Problem Match Trophy. The Prime Minister “Expertise at Arms” large bore Nationwide Problem Match went to Pakistan Navy whereas Pakistan Military obtained The COAS Rifle and Pistol match trophy and The Chief of Air Workers Pistol Match trophy as well.

Last but not the least; Mangla Corps’s Naik Saeed bagged the “Finest Shot Match Trophy” GP-2.
Inspector Normal of Coaching and Analysis (IGT&E) Lieutenant Normal Sher Afghun was a notable presence at the event who also awarded prizes to the high achievers of this competition.
