Vehari clinches Inter- District Badminton Championship 2018
Vehari’s Asim, Khalid and Saeed win the Inter-district Badminton championship titles in connection with the Independence Day celebrations at Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall, Multan.
Inter-district Badminton championship concluded at Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall, Multan where Vehari players Asim, Khalid and Saeed win their respective Men’s single and Double titles.
In the men’s single final, Jalees from Vehari played aggressively against Asim of Multan to win the match by 2-0. In the first game both the players displayed extraordinary show of game and played on each other’s level and after a nail-biting contest Jalees came out victorious with the help of his speed and powerful strokes by 21-19. In the second game Irfan didn’t gave any opportunity to Asim to play freely to win the men’s single title with the final score line of 21-19, 21-18.
In doubles final, Khalid and Saeed from Vehari overpowered Anees and Anas from Multan to win the title with a final score line of 21-18, 14-21, 21-19.
Deputy Commissioner Mudassir Riaz Malik graced the ceremony as chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winner.
