Lahore Division Inter-District U-16 Championships dominated by Lahore

In the badminton event, Lahore plunged Nankana Sahib by 2-0. Saad beat Nankana’s Mohammad Ahsan with 21-9, 21-7. Then Saad and Usman teamed up to outdo Ahsan and Hashim 21-12, 21-10 in the doubles which resulted in their great success. 

Sheikhupura made their win against Kasur by 2-0 in another badminton match. In the singles match, Sahil lost to Zubair 21-7, 21-18 while the Zubair-Umar duo surpassed Kamran and Saad 21-9, 21-8 in the doubles.

In football, Lahore won by 7-1 against Kasur at the Lahore Football Academy in Johar Town. Haroon Zafar slammed four incredible goals while Mohammad Bilal scored two and Qasim one, were the other scorers. Usman Rasheed scored the comfort goal for Kasur.

While in the Table Tennis event, Nankana Sahib lost by 3-0 granting the victory to Lahore. Winners were Taimur Khan, Mohammad Hasan and Abdullah. For the losing side Armghan, Shahzad and Abdul Wahid. And Sheikhupura, meanwhile won 3-1 against Kasur.

In taekwondo, following the eight events in total Lahore won six competitions. Wining made with stealing first positions in the individual categories by:

Mohammad Faizan (48kg)

 Zuhaib Asif (51kg)

 Jahanzaib Asif (59kg)

 Jawad Ahmed (63kg)

 Fareedul Hasan (68kg)

Zeeshan Ali (73kg)

Ahmed Yasin and Mohammad Ali, both of Sheikhupura, came out at the top in 45kg and 55kg in their own categories.

The Hockey matches were held at the Mini Hockey Stadium. Kasur was lashed with 6-0 including the astonishing hat-trick by Haseeb from Lahore. Abdul Mannan scored one goal while Murtaza laced two goals.
