Margalla Ground Cricket Academy clinches T20 Match
Margalla Ground Cricket Academy MGCA U12 defeated Islamabad Club U12 in a T20 match played on the picturesque Islamabad Club Ground, Islamabad.
Islamabad Club won the toss and decided to bat first against MGCA Islamabad as they posted 105 runs in the allotted 20 overs and set target of 106 runs. Irtaza of Islamabad Club scored 23 with the help of 3 fours and one six.
MGCA Under 12 openers provided a solid start and they were in comfortable position to win the match but back to back wicket loss pushed them a little backward as Islamabad Club U-12 team pushed the match to the last over as a nervy climax came up in the match when MGCA U-12 needed 15 runs in just 5 balls but they kept their cool and won the match in the final over.
Although, MGCA won the T20 Cricket Match against Islamabad Club but all children of age 9-12 got the exposure and opportunity to take part in a quality game.
