Islamabad Commanders on a roll in Pakistan Table Tennis Super League

Islamabad Commanders won both of their opening day fixtures in the Pakistan Table Tennis Super League at the Liaquat Gymnasium, Islamabad.

 

After the opening ceremony on Sunday, the league got underway from Monday where in the opening match Islamabad Commanders outplayed Multan Sufiyan 3-0 then Peshawar Dilawars 3-0.

The inaugural edition of Pakistan table Tennis Super League (PTTSL) started in collaboration Pakistan Table Tennis Association (PTTA) and Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA). “Table tennis has created the history as after cricket this is the only game where league is being organized. The league would help generate table tennis interest amongst masses,” Nadeem Syed ITTA secretary and chairman national selection committee said.

Eight matches were played on the opening day of the league.
