Income Tax Seniors, Aftab Qarshi victorious in Amar Cables T20 championship

The first match of the day was played between Income tax seniors and Lahore Spartanz in which Income tax seniors outplayed Lahore Spartanz by 43 runs. Batting first, Income tax seniors posted 164 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Abdul Salam 52, Ghulam Abbas 36, Mudassar Ahmed 23 not out and Qadeer Khan 22 runs were main scorers while Tahir Irshad, Mudassar Rathore & Hafiz Waseem took 1 wicket each for Lahore Spartanz.

In reply Income Tax Seniors wrapped up the innings of Lahore Spartanz on 121 runs in 18.2 overs where Zaheer Iqbal 27 and M. Siddique 24 runs were top runs scorers. Behzad Anwar took 3 wickets while Zahid Khan and Yar Mohammad took 2 wickets each for Income Tax seniors. At the end of the match, Ghulam Abbas received the man of the match award from chief guest Mohsin Aftab Qarshi.

In the second match, Aftab Qarshi downs Azmat Cables by 6 wickets. Azmat Cables while batting first were bowled out on 131 runs in 19.2 overs. Khalid Butt 40, Faisal bari 20 & Karim Khan 18 runs were top scorers. Tehseen Mirza took 3 wickets while Mohsin Aftab and Javed Malik took 2 wickets each for Aftab Qarshi.

Aftab Qarshi in reply, chased down the target on 9.4 overs for the loss of only four overs where Sohail Idrees 54, Asif Ijaz 25 and Javed Malik 16 runs were top scorers. M. Azeem, M. Ahmed, Ijaz Hussain & Maqsood Hussain took 1 wicket apiece from Azmat cables. At the end of the match, chief guest Salman Khan give away man of the match award to Tehseen Mirza.
