Islamabad United to take Quetta Gladiators in exhibition match

Two of Pakistan Super League franchises Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators all set to face off in all-stars exhibition match in Rawalpindi cricket stadium.

 

Islamabad United owner Ali Naqvi, Misbah ul haq along with Quetta Gladiators coach Moin Khan in a joint declaration shared the news with media men and announced that the match is scheduled to be played on Thursday 15th February.

The initiative is taken to create hype for upcoming third edition of PSL and the game was named as All-star match because new and former players will be playing in the match, Ali Naqvi said.

Talking on the occasion, Moin Khan said he along with Abdul Razzaq will also take part in the match as he endorsed the initiative of the match. He added that, he and Abdul Razzaq will be there to help team and they are also planning to take some celebrities on board for the match.

United won the first edition of PSL while Gladiators remained the runners-up in previous two occasion and the match will help to gather a good number of crowed not only from the twin-cities but also from the surrounding areas and people will get a chance to see their favorite players in front of them.
