Lahore to face Karachi in Inter Region U-16 Cricket Final

Batting first against Quetta U-16 at LCCA cricket ground, Lahore put 220 on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 40 overs. Lahore captain Umer Eman scored 47 runs while Bilal Munir contributed 41 and Khalil ur Rehman 26 runs. Kabir Ahmed remained not out on 22 runs. Aurangzab, Abdul Ghaffar and Nauman Khan picked up 2 wickets each for 38, 43 and 44 runs.

In reply, Lahore bowled out Quetta on 160 runs in 35.4 overs. Ali Nauman was the top scorer from Quetta with 38 runs while Amir Khan scored 29 runs and Aurangzaib contributed 28 runs. Muhammad Subhan took 3 wickets while Wahab Ahmed picked up 2 wickets for 27 runs and Umer Eman, Osma Zahid and Kabir Ahmed got 1 wicket each.

Omer Eman for his brilliant all-round performance was declared man of the match. Final of the tournament to be played on Sunday December 24 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore between Lahore Region and Karachi Region.
