Army on a roll in the National Taekwondo Championship

On the 3rd day of 12th Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship Pakistan Army secures 4 more golds to lead the medal table, WAPDA on second.

 

On the third day of championship, 7 Male & Female Khyrougi events were finalized and out of them Pakistan Army secured 4 gold medals. Shahzaib from Balochistan won the gold medal in under 54 Kg (Fin Weight) category with 15 points. Shafeeq from Pakistan Army secured the silver medal with second position while Muhammad Owais from KPK earns bronze medal.

In the Under 58 Kg (Fly Weight) category, Haroon Khan from WAPDA win 15 points won the gold while Balochistan’s Hameed Ullah got silver and Hussain Anjum from Islamabad secured the bronze medal. WAPDA’s Mehmood Khan with 15 points grabbed the gold medal. Ashfaq from Army secured silver and Bashir from Railway won bronze in the Under 63 Kg (Bantam Weight) category.

Ijaz Ahmed from Army held the gold medal in Under 68 Kg (Feather Weight) category while Jibran Asad from HEC secured bronze and Rehmat Jamal from Gilgit-Baltistan got bronze medal. In the Under 74 Kg (Light Weight) category, Salman from Army won the gold medal with 15 points. WAPDA’s Muhammad Bilal earned silver medal and Razi ud din from Gilgit-Baltistan secured the bronze.

Syed Muhammad Afnan Shah in the under 80 Kg (Welter Weight) category won the gold medal while Rab Nawaz from Railway secured the second position and earned silver medal while Abdul Khaliq from Balochistan got bronze medal. In under 46 Kg (Fin Weight) category, Suidra Batool from Pakistan Army won the gold medal.
