Army rules National Taekwondo Championship day two

Pakistan Army with 3 more golds leading the day 2 of 12th Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship.

 

Army’s Ejaz Ahmed won the goals medal under 68 Kg (Feather Weight) with 15 points while Jibran Asad from HEC secured the silver with 10 points and Rehmat Jamal from Gilgit-Baltistan with 06 points won the bronze medal. Salman from Pakistan Army with 15 points won the gold medal in under 74 Kg (Light Weight) category. Muhammad Bilal got 10 points and won silver while with 06 points Razi ud Din from Gilgit-Baltistan won the bronze.

In the 3rd event of the day under 80 Kg (Welter Weight) category, once again Army’s Syed Muhammad Afnan Shah with 15 points secured the gold while with 10 points Rab Nawaz from Pakistan Railway got the silver and Abdul Khaliq from Balochistan with 06 points earned bronze medal.
On the second day of the championship, Pakistan Army with 8 gold and 2 silver medals leading the championship while with 1 gold and 6 silver medals WAPDA secures the 2nd position and with only 1 gold Punjab is on 3rd position. Pakistan Railway with 1 silver and 3 bronze medals stands on 4th Position.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Army was leading the day 1 of championship with 5 gold and 2 silver medals in both Men and Women events. Ali Ameen Gandapur, provincial minister KPK was the chief guest of day 2 and he gave away prizes among the winners. Secretary Gilgit-Baltishtan and Sports manager FAST University Aun Abbass Hashmi were also present on the occasion.
