16th Cholistan Jeep Rally 2021 from 11th February

Pakistan’s biggest motorsports event the 'Cholistan Jeep Rally 2021' will take place in the majestic desert of Cholistan from February 11 to 14, 2020.

Cholistan Desert Rally started back in 2005 and has since grown in leaps and bounds. The upcoming rally will mark this event’s 16th edition, which reflects its ever-increasing popularity.

All the adventure-hungry car racers are welcome to get themselves registered to join the rally race. This year the race track length will be reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic.

More than 100 Racers from all over Pakistan will challenge the sand of the Cholistan in different categories.

In 15th edition, Meer Nadir Maggsi won the Cholistan TDCP Jeep Rally 2020 prepaid category, while Tushna Patail emerged as a winner in the women category. In stock category, Gohar Asad annexed the first position.

The event is held to portray a positive and a softer image of Pakistan abroad and bring to highlight the real beauty of south Punjab’s landscape.

Besides promoting tourism, such events also enhance the livelihood of the locals. The prime objective to hold this event in the heart of Cholistan desert is to show the outside world its history and rich culture and open this area as a tourist destination.
