Noor, Hamza, Ashab, Khushal snatch semi-final spots of All Pakistan Under-19 Squash C’ship 2020

Noor Zaman, Hamza Sharif, Ashab Irfan and Khushal Riaz Khan snatched semi-final spots of All Pakistan Under-19 Squash Championship at Qamar Zaman Squash Complex, Qayuum Stadium, Peshawar.

The under-19 title winner of the recently concluded National Junior Squash Championship 2020, Noor Zaman of PAF walloped second seed AsadUllah Khan of KP by 3-1 in just 28 minutes to secure a spot in the semifinals.

Noor was home with a game score of 12-10,11-9,5-11,11-7.

In just 19 minutes, Hamza Sharif of KP gatecrash his way into the semifinals after defeating Hamza Zahid 3-0. The scores read as 11-9,11-6,12-10.

Khushal Riaz Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa got walkover against Hammad Khan of Punjab due to injury. Khushal is now pitted against Hamza Sharif in the semi-final.

In the last quarterfinal, Ashab Irfan took 38 minutes to edge out Hassan Raza of Punjab 3-1 with the final score line of 9-11,17-15,11-6,11-4. Asab will face Noor Zaman in the semi-final.

The semifinals are stated to be held on 23rd December (Wednesday) at 12:00 PM.
