World no. 108 Faiza Zafar claims All Pakistan Women Squash C'ship 2020 title
World no. 108 Faiza defeated her younger sister Madina by 3-2 in all-sister affair final of All Pakistan Women Squash Championship at Jansher Khan Squash Complex, Abbottabad.
All Pakistan Women Squash Championship organized by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association (KPSA), culminated successfully at Jansher Khan Squash Complex, Abbottabad.
The epic final of All Pakistan Women Squash Championship was seen between the Zafar’s sisters who plays for the Pakistan Army, where World no. 108 Faiza defeated her younger sister Madina, who is world no.120, by 3-2 in all-sister affair final.
Madina could have sealed the fate, as he won the first game 12-10 but she committed too many mistakes, which cost her the title in the end. Faiza took the next two games and after losing fourth game survived some anxious moments and thanks mainly to Madina’s unwanted errors, as she prevailed and took the fifth and decisive game 11-8 to win the title.
The final score line was 10-12, 11-2,11-8,7-11,11-8.
Mushtaq Ghani Speaker KP Assembly graced the concluding ceremony as a chief guest. The event had also presences of Former World Champion Legend Mr Qamar Zaman Ex Director Sports Mr Tariq Mehmood Secretary KP Squash Association Mr EhsanUllah Khan, officials and players.
