Shehzad & Shabab secure top spots of Quaid-e-Azam Day Blitz & Rapid Chess Tournaments 2019

Quaid-e-Azam Day Blitz and Rapid Chess Tournaments 2019 successfully concluded with Shehzad Shazil and Shabab Nazar taking home the champions trophies, at The Value Schools in Lahore.

The two chess events named: Quaid-e-Azam Day Blitz and Rapid Chess Tournaments 2019 were organized by Chess Federation of Pakistan (CFP) in collaboration with The Value Schools where several talented chess players participated to earn top honors in their respective classes.

14 year old, Shehzad Shazil, who scored 17 out of 18 rounds, triumphed over his opponents to secure the top position of  Quaid-e-Azam Day Blitz Chess Tournament with his best skills. He was followed by Zorez Shabkhez on the second spot whereas Salman Hyder had to settle for the third position. 

Shabab Nazar and Ferman Aziz tied with 7/9 points in Quaid-e-Azam Day Rapid Chess Tournament, but Shabab was declared the champion as he defeated Ferman Aziz in 2nd round. Ferman Aziz then settled for the runner up spot while  Faisal Khan finished third. 

The winners were awarded certificates and trophies by the honorable chief guest, Mr Hammad Raza Chaudry and Mr Mahmood Lodhi.
