13th Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship successfully concludes

The Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship 2019 successfully wrapped up with Mr. Amjad, Ramzan and Amir taking the top three position at PSB Coaching Center in Lahore.

Chess Association of Punjab (CAP) and Pakistan Chess Club (PCC) in collaboration with Chess Federation of Pakistan jointly organized another mega chess event named: Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship at PSB Coaching Center in Lahore.

Chess Association of Punjab (CAP) gladly hosted the event where competitions were held for both male and female players in which Amjad Hafeez Bajwa topped all of his participating opponents, securing first position and was followed by Muhammad Ramzan on the second spot while Aamir Butt settled for the third position.

4th position was taken over by Farhat Mehmood and Faisal Khan stood 5th. Muhammad Shafiq, Tanvir Ahmed Mushtaq and Bilal Javed grabbed 6th, 7th and 8th positions, respectively whereas Muhammad Afzal and Shabab Nazar came 9th and 10th. 

This mega chess event offered several cash prizes for the top 10 position holders among which the title winner was awarded a cash prize of Rupees 3,000 while the runner up got 2,000 Rupees.

The third position holder bagged Rupees 1,000 worth of cash prize while 4th and 5th postilion grabbers took home 800 and 700 Rupees, respectively and 6th to 10th position takers got 500 Rupees.
