Hooria, Fatima & Syed Abdullah claim top spots at Lahore District Junior Qualifying Chess Championship 2019

The 2019 Lahore District Junior Qualifying Chess Championship wound up successfully with several talented players taking top spots in their respective categories at PSB Coaching Center in Lahore.

Pakistan Strength and Conditioning Association in collaboration with Chess Federation of Pakistan (CFP) organized the 2019 Lahore District Junior Qualifying Chess Championship which featured competitions for both boys and girls in age groups of: U-08, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, U-18 and U-20.

The U-08 girls category winner stood Hooria Zubair, who took the first position while Fatima Faisal claimed the top spot of U-10 girls category.  U-10 boys category's top spot was taken by Syed Abdullah Zubair, who was followed by Ahmed Moeed Yusuf on the runner up position and Muhammad Arham Rehan Chaudhry settled for the third spot. 

Boys U-12 category top position holder stands as  Saad Hussain and Shamir Zeeshan Kureshi took the second spot. U-14 boys category's top three position holders stood: Muhammad Ibrahim, Bilal Naeem Lukhesar and  Ismail Mustafa Syed. Whereas, Maiza Shabkhez bagged the first position in U-16 girls category and Palwisha Javed won the top spot of U-20 category.

All the high achievers of the tournament were given several cash prizes by the honorable chief guest, Naseer Ullah Rana, Director PSBCC.
