Kashmir Solidarity Pakistan Open Chess Championship 2019 to be held on 7th September
Several talented chess players will be seen competing in the 2019 Kashmir Solidarity Pakistan Open Chess Championship which is all set to be held on 7th September at Sports Complex in Attock.
DC Attock and District Sports Officer Waheed Babar in collaboration with Chess Federation of Pakistan (CFP) are all set to organize another mega chess event, into the current year which has been named as "Kashmir Solidarity Pakistan Open Chess Championship".
This event will be hosted by Chess Association of Punjab (CAP) while the championship Director is Mr Amin Malik. The total rounds will be 7 with time control of 15+10. Lunch and refreshments would also be provided to the participants and the competitions would begin from 11:00 AM sharp. and would continue till 05:00 PM.
Those who wish to participate in this event are to get themselves registered first for which Entry fee has been set as Rupees 700/- each and the deadline for registrations is 6th September. This mega event is offering an attractive prize pursue of Rupees 25000/- total which would equally be divided among the top ten position holders in which the title winner will be awarded with a cash prize of Rupees 10,000 while the runner up will get 5,000 Rupees. The third position holder will bag Rupees 3,000 worth of cash prize.
Fourth to tenth position gainers will be getting cash prizes of Rupees 1000 each.
