Razia & Ali wins National Road Cycling Championship 2019 titles

Sindh Cycling Association in collaboration with Pakistan Cycling Federation is organizing the National Road Cycling Championship 2019 which paddle off here at DHA Karachi. 

The opening day of championship started with round of 20 Km elite female individual time trial where Razia of Pakistan Army bagged top spot as she went through fastest in a time of 30minutes & 8 seconds.

Followed by Naila Bano of WAPDA who took the honors in 30 min, 33 sec, 59ms while Kanza Bano of the organizers Bikestan Crank Addicts registered the third-fastest time 30min, 40 sec, 13ms.

In 40kms Individual Time trails(Men), Ali Ilyas of Bikestan Crank Addicts registered the fastest time 48min, 28 sec, 09ms followed by Arsalan of Pakistan Army in 48min, 49sec, 59ms and Mohsin Khan of SSGC secured the third place by 49 min, 32sec, 36ms. 

In the event, which will last till August 25, riders from four provinces, Islamabad, WAPDA, Army, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) and a club from Gilgit-Baltistan are showcasing their talent. The event are held in the 13-kilometre circuit.

The events which are contesting in the competitions includes individual time trial, team time trial, road race and sanitarium. 

Men and women are featuring in both senior and junior categories. The country’s leading riders Izatullah and Sabir Ali are also participating in the competition which is being organised by the Sindh Cycling Association (SCA).
