Syed Abid Ali Shah Memorial 1st Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship to be held tomorrow

The 2019 Syed Abid Ali Shah Memorial Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship is all set to start tomorrow at Shah Taj Hotel in Lahore.

Chess Association of Punjab (CAP) and PAK Chess Club (PCC) are jointly organizing a mega chess event, for the very first time, which has been named as "Syed Abid Ali Shah Memorial Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship". 

This event will be held in collaboration with Chess Federation of Pakistan (CFP) and will be hosted by Chess Association of Punjab (CAP) and Lahore District Chess Association (LDCA).

No age/gender restriction has been applied and Entry fee has been set as Rupees 1000/- which was to be submitted by the deadline: 28th June, so it is necessary for the people who are interested to participate in this championship to get themselves registered today.

Total rounds will be 5 with time control of 20+10 and the competitions will begin from 07:00 PM and will continue till midnight.

This mega event is offering an attractive prize pursue for the top ten position holders in which the title winner will be awarded with a cash prize of Rupees 5,000 while the runner up will get 3,000 Rupees.

The third position holder will bag Rupees 2,000 worth of cash prize. Fourth and Fifth spot winners will get 1,500 Rupees prize whereas as sixth to tenth position gainers will be having cash prizes of Rupees 1,000 each.
