Pakistan Open Balochistan International Ranking Chess Championship 2019 from 19th April

A total of 19 players from several areas of the country are to vie in the 2019 Pakistan Open Balochistan International Ranking Chess Championship which is scheduled to be held from 19th to 21st April at Balochistan Sports Board in Quetta.

Chess Federation Pakistan (CFP) in joint efforts with Balochistan Chess Association is organizing a chess event which has been named as "Pakistan Open Balochistan International Ranking Chess Championship" into the current year in which the competitions will be held in both male and female categories thus no gender restriction has been applied. As well as participants are not restricted to any specific age. 

It will be a nine round Swiss League Fide Rated Standard event with a time control of 60 minute + 30 seconds. Fide Event code is 217628. Reporting time has been set as 10:00 AM sharp on 19th April. First round shall start at 11:00 AM. Swiss Manager pairing software will be used and all the participants must have Fide ID Number.

This championship carries a total prize pursue of Rs. 50,000 and according to the break up, the position holders will bag the following amounts:

- 1st: 15,000 and Trophy
- 2nd: 10,000 and Shield
- 3rd: 6000 and Shield
- 4th: 5000
- 5th: 3000
- 6th: 2000
- 7th: 2000
- 8th: 2000
- Best Unrated: 3000
- 2nd Best Unrated: 2000
