1st PAKChess Fide Rated Rapid Women Chess C'ship on 20th Jan.
Chess Federation Pakistan and PAKChess is organizing the PAKChess Fide Rated Rapid Women Chess Championship 2019 on 20th January at Smart Hotel in Lahore.
Chess Federation Pakistan (CFP) and PAKChess for the very first time are organizing the first edition of a chess championship that is open to only women and has been named as "PAKChess Fide Rated Rapid Women Chess Championship 2019"
The championship will be contested on 20th January at Smart Hotel, Liberty Market in Lahore and will begin at 10:00 AM sharp and will continue till 05:00 PM.
The Fide event code is and the entry fee for participation in this championship has been set as Rupees 1000 while free CFP Registration including Fide ID for all those who do not have already, the fee associated to it is Rupees 1500 per person that will be paid by CAP. This is for the promotion of Chess among Women.
Time Control/Rounds is 05 rounds with 15 minutes plus 10 seconds increment from move 1 and the Tie Breaks are Direct Encounter/Buscholzs.
This championship is largely sponsored by Mr. Syed Zarrar Ali
that include a trophy along with a shield as well as 7000 Rupees worth of cash prize for the winner while the runner up will also get a prize money of 5000 Rupees along with a shield. The third, fourth and fifth position holders will bag 4000, 3000 and 2000 rupees as prize money whereas Rupees 1000 will be awarded to the women who will manage to stand at 6th to 10th positions.
Also, all those participants who confirm their participation 24 hours before the championship starts will be given certificates of participation.
