Pakistan thrash arch rivals India 47-29 in Tri-Nation Kabaddi Series 2019 opener

Pakistan White kabaddi team and Iran’s kabaddi team were up against in the first clash of the day in which Pakistan team completely crushed Iranian team by a total score of 38-24 points. 

Similarly, in the other encounter, despite several efforts made by the Indian team, Pakistan Green kabbadi team came out much stronger with their unsuppressed grounding skills playing with full passion for the sport and finally earned their team the victory of the match by trashing the arch rival, Indian kabaddi team with the total score of 47/29. 

Advisor to CM Punjab for Political Affairs, Chaudhry Muhammad Akram was the honorable chief guest who witnessed the matches and also, lauded the efforts of Divisional Commissioner Faisalabad, Asif Iqbal Chaudhry for organizing the 41st National Kabaddi Championship and inviting Indian and Iranian teams for this international kabaddi series.

He also said that the government is taking steps to facilitate players with international standards facilities so that a healthy society can be developed, besides promoting soft image of Pakistan at international level.

Special Assistant to CM Punjab for Sports, Malik Umar Farooq, Divisional Commissioner, Asif Iqbal Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner, Sardar Saif Ullah Dogar, Regional Police Officer (RPO), Ghulam Mehmud Dogar, City Police Officer (CPO), Ashfaq Ahmad Khan and Secretary General Pakistan Kabaddi Federation, Rana Muhammad Sarwar were also present on the occasion.

The Three Nation Kabaddi Series is being organized by Punjab Government in collaboration with Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) which is featuring Kabaddi teams from three different nations including: India, Iran and Pakistan.

Kabaddi players belonging from these three nations will be competing with all their skill and passion for the sport in the upcoming matches so as to win the title as well as the trophy of the series.
