POF, Army & Railways win 41st National Kabaddi Championship openers

The 41st National Kabaddi Championship got underway with 6 teams winning on the opening day of the championship at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.

 
The Circle Style 41st National Kabaddi Championship has been organized by Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) that is featuring top teams belonging from various departments as well as provinces of Pakistan. Players from a total of 13 teams are witnessed competing against each other to win top honors in the championship.  

Total six matches were contested on the first day of the championship in which Pakistan Ordnance Factories Wah (POF), Army, Railways, Police, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and WAPDA teams emerged successful by beating their respective opponents.

The first match between POF and KP teams saw POF dominating much of the fight and made the opponent team fall to the ground with their 47 points win against their 17 in total. While Army team won over Punjab in the second clash by 37-18 score. Whereas Railway team thrashed Baluchistan by a huge score margin of 34-14.

Commissioner Faisalabad, Mr. Asif Iqbal Chaudry, Mr. Sardar Saif Ullah Dogar, DC Faisalabad, Advisor CM Sports and Cultural Youth, Malik Umer Farooq, Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, Mr. Zia ALamdar, President Chamber of Commerce Faisalabad were the honorable chief guest of the opening day of the championship.

Six more Kabbadi matches will be played today starting from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
