Squash team left for South Asian Games without their Coaches.

Pakistan squash team left for India without their coaches. Sattawat Babar and Fahim Gul were not given the accreditation cards by the Indian authorities.

The Pakistan squash team were not given accreditation cards by the Indian authorities for the South Asian games that will be held in India.
 
The Pakistan Olympic Association is trying their best and hopes that the issue will be resolved soon. It will be a big blow for the squash team if the coaches are denied accreditation cards. 

The squash team that left for India comprised of four male and four female players. Nasir Iqbal, Farhan Zaman, Danish Atlas and Sheikh Saqib are part of men's team while Maria Toor, Muqadas Ashraf, Samar Anjam and Sadia Gul are part of women's team. 

Pakistan won two gold medals and one silver medal in the last edition of the South Asian Games and the team is very hopeful to improve their record this time. 

Meanwhile, swimming and table tennis contingents also left for India to participate in the event. A 20 member squad including three officials departed for India. Eleven male and Six female swimmers are part of the swimming team. The table tennis team is comprised of five male and five female athletes including three officials.

Total 301 Pakistani athletes are taking part in 20 disciplines of the games.
