Pakistan wins four medals in 2nd Kathmandu International Taekwondo Championship

Pakistan Taekwondo squad bagged 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in the 2nd Kathmandu International Taekwondo Championship played at Nepal.

According to Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF), a four-member Pakistan team participated in the event and won 2 gold , 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in the mega event. 
Alamgir Ali and Muhammad Waqar grabbed one gold medal each in 58kg and 87kg, respectively. Adnan Maqsood took silver medal in 68kg while Rafi Ullah got a bronze medal.   

A total of 633 players, including 383 in men’s section and 250 in women’s category, from 13 countries took part in the tournament organised by United Taekwondo Dojang under the auspices of Nepal Taekwondo Association. NSC Vice-president and General Secretary of Nepal Olympic Committee Lama Tendi Sherpa among others handed over the prizes to the winners of the two-day tournament.
