USD10,000 Pakistan Squash Circuit-1 kicks off in Islamabad
Eight players, including Pakistan's Former #1 Mansoor Zamaan moves into the main qualifying round of Men’s Singles in Pakistan Squash Circuit-1 at Mushaf Squash Complex Islamabad.
Pre-Qualifying round of Pakistan Squash Circuit-1 for Men concluded here at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad. The tournament includes Men & Women events. Amount of US$ 10,000 and US$ 5,000 has been set as prize money of Men and Women events respectively.
In Men’s Singles pre-qualifying round, total sixteen players played in which Zahir Shah, Bilal Zakir, Noman khan , Danish Atlas khan, Haris Iqbal, Muhammad Farhan,Iqtidar Khan and former Pakistan #1 Mansoor Zaman (currently ranked 489 in world ranking) qualified for the main qualifying round by defeating their opponents. In Men’s Singles fifteen players from Pakistan including top seed Farhan Zaman and the only Umair Zaman from Qatar will participate in the Pakistan Squash Circuit-1 at Mushaf Squash Complex Islamabad.
In women’s event, 16 top national players have been included for the main round only. The semi-finals and finals of the event will be played on May 12 and 13 respectively.
