National Handball Championship enters in Semifinal stage
Army, Railways, Wapda and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) qualified for the semi-finals of the 28th National Handball Championship at the University of Agriculture in Faisalabad.
Total eight teams are participating in the National Handball tournaments including Railway, Punjab, WAPDA, Balochistan, KPK, Army, Police and HEC which are divided into two pools where Army, Railways, Wapda and the Higher Education Comm¬ission (HEC) outplayed their opponents and qualified for the semi-finals of the 28th National Handball Championship at the University of Agriculture in Faisalabad.
On Wednesday, Police defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a one sided encounter by 34-19 while Punjab outplayed Balochistan by 42-22. Army recorded a 46-21 victory against the HEC and Wapda downed Railways 26-11.
Army will take on Railways while Wapda will face HEC in the semi-finals to be held today. The final will be staged on Friday.
