Ronnie Patel wins prepared ‘A’ class Hub Motorcar Rally

Skillful Ronnie Patel with his brilliant control and experience, won the ‘A’ prepared class event of Toyota Highway Motor Hub Rally cross at Max Dirt Arena.

Patel was driving 4000cc Vigo as he completed the two laps of 11 kilometers in 18 minutes 47 minutes to win the race. He was followed by Sahibzada Muhammad Ali with a margin of just six seconds at 18 minutes 53 seconds, as he improved his standings where he finished third. Atif Imam ended on the third with 19 minutes 54 seconds.

Rija Ashraf claimed the first position in women’s category by clocking 15min 9.62 seconds. Sahibzada Fawad remained victorious in Prepared ‘B’ category while Pakistan’s top lady driver Tushna Patel who competed against male opponents in the “B” Prepared category, bagged the second position behind Sahibzada Fawad and Muzamil Shirwani finished on third.

In the ‘C’ Prepared category, Kashif Khan bagged first position while Muhammad Dhanji remained second.

Mansoor Aleem remained victorious in the 11km one lap of Stock ‘A’ category while Umer Soomro secured second position and Nasir Khan ended on third. Danish Imam secured first position in Stock ‘B’ category followed by Naveed Wasti and Taimoor Ali khan finished on third place.

In Stock ‘C’ category, Jeeyund Hoth grabbed the first spot while Darya Khan secured second and Berbukh Baloch finished on third.

Three times champion Nadir Magsi and defending champion Asad khoro could not show up for their personal reasons but they were direly missed by the racing fans. Nadir had performed a hat-trick by winning the first three editions of the rally while Khoro had dethroned him last year.

Chief Organizer Shujaat Sherwani, members of the organizing committee Shad Ali Khan, Irfan Imam Zaidi, Aamir Salam and Amin Ghani were also present on the occasion. Shujaat Sherwani complimented the Hub spectators and fans for attending and watching the action live and thanked Pakistan sporting legends for coming over and enjoying the exciting contests.
