Azizabad, Khaliq 11 wins 4th Students Olympic Games 2020 futsal openers

The 4th edition of Students Olympic Games 2020 commenced at the Mini Sports Complex, Nazimabad.

The matches are being played between 6:30-09:30pm and includes competitions in futsal, throwball, rope skipping and archery.

A total of 35 teams are participating in the futsal event where Azizabad futsal team trounced Karachi City futsal team by 7-4.

In another exciting match of the day, Khaliq 11 defeated New Nazimabad by 7-4 goals. The weeklong Games will conclude on Nov 30.

Aijazuddin, SSP Police District Central Traffics, Karachi was the chief guest at the opening ceremony.

The event had the presence of Maqbool Arain, President Pakistan Students Olympic Association, Adnan Vohra, Vice President South Asia Throwball Federation, Jaffar Ali Shah, SVP PSOA, Saleem Ahmed, SVP PRSF and Shariq Siddiqui, Secretary Pakistan Rope Skipping Federation.
